About the Author

David Sweeney

David lives in central Texas, miles from the nearest "big city." With a passle of animals, kids and websites to take care of, David stays busy most of the time. When he's not playing with the kids, brewing beer, working on the SQPN site, or directing the choir, David likes to sleep. Shhh.

  1. Animals and souls.

My understanding is that the church teaches that there are different types of souls. The soul of a human is different to the soul of an animal.

How does this answer the question of animals in heaven? Well it doesn’t. My parents always used the logic that anything good on earth is a reflection of something in heaven. Given the wonderful part that animals play in our lives, it seems likely that they would also exist in heaven….
