  1. Congrats Father on the nominations! You can definitely count on me to vote for all the 3 SQPN shows! Hurray for SQPN! :D

  2. Oh, btw Fr Rod, the Archbishop of Singapore is Fr Nicholas Chia (pronounced as “chee-ah”) :p

  3. Congrats on the nominations! Good luck!

  4. Father, I don’t understand why you chose the image you did for the show today. Could you explain it? Also, congrats on the nominations, I will be sure to vote!

  5. Am I right to say that the image is supposed to be part of the wing of a dove, which represents the Holy Spirit? Fr Roderick talked about the Holy Spirit during the segment on the Sacrament of Confirmation.

  6. Wings of a dove => symbol of the Holy Spirit

    Holy Spirit => Confirmation
    :)

It also says on the Podcast Awards website that you can have a REALY COOL GRAPHIC on the website. So…where is it?
    Congrats and good luck.

  8. DOH!

  9. @ Joshua: I have no idea, I’ve never seen any cool graphics on this website :)

I guess they refer to the Catholic Insider logo, but I’m not sure..

  10. G’day Father.
I can’t seem to download episodes 144 and 145 in ITunes or manually by saving the file to my desktop as I usually do.

This is most perplexing. Has anything changed or could it perhaps be my firewall? Hmmmmmmmmnnn.

Well take care and God Bless and I hope I can DL these episodes soon! There’s a part of my brain that is hungry for the updates and I can hear that part of my brain’s stomach growling.

  11. The problem must be at your end, the files are downloading fine here…

  12. Father Roderick,

I noticed a poster in my church advertising a huge gathering of Catholics aged 18–30 in Birmingham (UK) in October (website http://www.oct06.org.uk/index.htm). I wonder whether it might be an opportunity for you to speak about podcasting if you could get over here?? They seem to have lots of workshops and talks. Just a thought, but if you need help in making enquiries, let me know! Delia.

  13. no, What I Mean is that if you EMAIL them, at podcastawards@gmail.com and say you would like to have a graphic, they will send it to them.
