  1. CC Chapman had a nice comment about you Father R in an interview he did at Podshow:

    CC Chapman Interview

I was at the Expo and unfortunately did not meet up with you Father (I’m going into chemo again next week and would have loved your blessing) and with Chris Marquardt. Glad you enjoyed yourself. You must come back again to California!

  2. Awesome. Great to see and hear you Father Roderick.

    Sean

  3. Fr. R, seems like you figured out iMovie just fine. Thanks for the video.

  4. Did you have any problems getting through the airport with that rubber-banded minidisk?

  5. Great job! The music blended in well, and your cinematography was very good. The only slightly awkward bit was how close you had to have the camera to your face, but I am not sure there is a real solution to that. Maybe a lens that makes you look farther away.

But a great start and a lot of fun. You might want to check out the Traveling Morans for some ideas, they are going on a year long honeymoon around the world and are doing video podcasts along the way. They both have a background in television (they were on TechTV), and they do a good job.

  6. Very fun to see the beginnings of your trip. I hope it is continuing to go well. I can’t wait to hear more about your adventures in the states.

  7. After listening to you for so long, I had an idea of how it all looked, and you know what, you are just how I pictured you. Maybe some slight differences, but all and all, just like I thought.

Great little short…we want to see more.
Thanks for all the podcasts. You do a wonderful job.

  8. Fr. Roderick,

I hope you enjoyed the Mother Anglica book. Its full of a lot of humor. I purposely bought the audio book because I heard Raymond Arroyo was doing voices of Mother Angelica and some other figures. He did a really good job, so good it caused some extra laughs in me as well.

  9. Father,

I really likes your videocast. I have flown five times and it was fun. I like you way you share thing. Hope to see more.

  10. Hoo-rah! I can’t wait to see what else you did!

  11. Hi
is it possible to download without subscibing to itunes, not everyone loves Apple, i prefer not to have their software on my system

  12. great video podcast Father. It was so cool to see you Father. You did a great job..you have a steady hand! The music fit perfectly. Thanks again so much for your ministry!

  13. Father Roderick, here’s the fun 16 minute long conversation we had I’ve included in my episode 385:

It was a pleasure meeting you!!!

  14. WOW! I was just going to e-mail you abou putting this at YouTube. Hooray..!

  15. Father - I hope you don’t mind people putting your YouTube video on our blogs to give you a bit of promotion. :-)

  16. Matt, of course not! That would be great!

  17. You can also use VLC (www.videolan.org) to view the videos, it’s free and will run on ALL operating systems.

  18. Hehe Fr. Roderic! :-)
I can see that you are already addicted to your “New” PDA and that you take it with you everywhere you go. And it suits you fine on your trip to Neu Amsterdam ;-) and will probably the same elsewhere you go!

Did I mention to you that it been with me across the Alps from Innsbruck to Sterzing?

Anyway have fun and next time try if you can hire a cameraman… if that is posible? Think it would lift your videopodcast cos’ I now how hard it is to film you self while doing other stuff…

    Thx!
