Hi Fr.!
Also for me was a huge experience to meet you in Rome… so inspiring !!!
Today a bought a Sound Blaster card (24- Bit advance HD)for my benq laptop. So let’s PODCAST!!!
Thanks a lot for everything… and keep in touch!
God Bless You.
Fr. Javier Cosentino.
I guess there are some benifits to global warming; at least for the time being. Unusually warm here in Maine this November also!
If I were you, Father, I might check the ingredients of those fake capuccinos you are drinking. Probably full of yucky chemicals.
Are you drinking at least 8 large glasses of water a day?
With your propensity to develop kidney stones… ;)))
Hi Fr. Roderick, welcome back
Just wanted to point out that both pronunciations of “corazón” are fine :). The first one is how every Spanish-speaking but Spain pronounce corazón. The Spaniards say it like you said the second time (stressing the “z”, except for the Canary Islands).
¡Saludos a todos! (Greetings to all!)
Thanks for the Happy Birthday message, Fr. Roderick! (Still haven’t gotten a chance to listen to the show, though
)
Feeling a very old 32,
Bill
Welcome back! I must admit it was a quite, well, too quite week without you in my ears …
First of all…about Swedish language…I lived in Finland for a year as an exchange student. I chose Finland because my family emigrated from there to the US. I wanted to learn the language to translate some old documents and get to know my heritage, etc. I worked very hard to learn one of the most difficult languages in the world, to go home and find out that my ancestors were Swedish Finns. They were a part of the minority that live in Finland and speak Swedish and identify with their Swedish ancestors. (I paid to have the documents translated.)
Secondly…I just went and saw “Happy Feet” I am the director of a daycare, so I think I have a finger on the pulse of the children’s movie market. I did not like it. My mom kept waking me up because my snoring was disturbing the other movie patrons. I might be tempted to buy the soundtrack, but other than that, there are only so much a penguin can do with their feet. That is why they walk funny. I would have been happier to watch Savion Glover dance instead.
Thanks for the Daily Breakfast!
Dear Fr. Roderick,
A warm greeting (literally) from Taiwan!
You did this again, Fr. Roderick. You are just amazing! You recorded three or four episode in a row before your trip again. You must have been exhausted after all this. Thank you so much. I feel really blessed to be able to listen to Daily Breakfast every day. Thank you, Fr. Roderick.
Jack
I now know the secret energy source possessed by Father. It is the Senseo. I just bought one on Amazon (on sale, so I can be frugal like Father
1 cup of that Senseo coffee and I am off to face the world with a heightened state of awareness.
This is how he can podcast at 3am after getting back from Rome or France or 3 masses a day.
God Bless,
-dave
