Hmm, saw this post here for the new RA show, but for some reason it’s still appearing in my iTunes, even when I manually update. Any one else not getting this in their podcast aggregator?
Greg, I’m with you on the issue of manuals. At best they’re only good for kindling.
Greg & Jennifer:
Be assured that a few grouches in this world will never reverse the possitive effect of your ministry. Keep doing what you are doing with the confidence that God (and your listeners) will provide what you need.
Many thanks for your good work.
Thanks Steve. We have no doubt that RA will be provided for!
You mean he quit his job to focus on his apostolate full time AND he has the temerity to want to feed his children?!?
That’s it. I’m unsubscribing!
Not.
I’m still not making rosaries, though. My poor fingers have enough to do.
Welcome to dealing with the public. I once told a class (for a course that didn’t require much math, just algebra and trig.) that if we had the time (which we didn’t), we could learn the calculus required to go through something properly, but as we didn’t they would just have to trust me. At the end of the semester, two students wrote in their course evaluations that I said they were ‘too stupid to learn calculus’. Well, maybe those two were, but I didn’t say so. For you the situation will be even worse, with an unlimited number of people listening, hearing often what they want to hear, construing what you say in the light of their own prejudices. Try not to let it rankle. Your reply was more than fair.
Just my 2ยข.
im unsubscribing to the nay sayers…keep up the great work rosary army we still support you! like my mom says let it roll off you like water off a ducks back. so if you get bad email just say QUACK QUACK…its sure to put a smile on you face, say a quick prayer for them and carry on!!
@Craig: Reading your post made me laugh. When I heard the email I thought of a line from one of my daughter’s books. “To the tiger in the Zoo, Madeleine just said ‘pooh pooh’”.
Just keep up the good work and dont worry about ill-informed criticism Greg & Jennifer.
Hey Greg,
I started reading Dark Night of the Soul - and yes, I agree that’s it’s hard reading. I would be interested in hearing more talk about this.
