  1. G’day Father Roderick!

Just wanted to say G’day and hope you and all at SQPN are doin’ well.

I wanted to ask you if you are looking forward to The Transformers movie? I was into Star Wars and The Transformers as a kid and I am very much hoping that they execute this film beautifully.

Think it’d make a great discussion point on The daily Brekkie!

Take care and God Bless mate,

  2. I really enjoyed the segement on RCIA. I went through RCIA myself, and I was baptised and confirmed at Easter Vigil in 1995. It was a wonderful experience, and those who teach RCIA classes and sponsor those going through the classes are wonderful people. Easter Vigil mass is my favorite all year, because, not only do I remember coming into the Church myself, I think it’s a special thing to be able to watch others come into the Church.

  3. Going back a ways, Fr. Roderick had a gripe about not being to get podcasts automatically onto his iPod Shuffle. Today, there’s a tip on MacOSXHints.com on how to do this with smart playlists and AppleScript.

I’m glad you enjoyed our report on RCIA. This is a very big weekend for many of those who are on the journey that you have traveled.

Even though I’m a lifelong Catholic, being a part of the RCIA ministry has opened up my eyes to so much that I either was spiritual blind to or simply took for granted. It is indeed a blessing and a treat to be a part of it.

You made my day! I was listening to DB on my way to work today and when the Latin Lovers song started I really became very happy. Then you start talking about Stabat Mater! What a joy – I love this Hymn!

My favorite version of Stabat Mater is by Vivaldi – there is a recording sung by James Bowman and Christopher Hopwood that is the best I have heard!

Thank you so much and have a nice day!

I too am intrigued by the idea of a Transformers movie. The director is know for big budget pictures so it out to be interesting. The best part is they have the original voice of Prime playing Prime

  7. I know-the fact they have the voice of Optimus Prime on board is gonna be awesome!

I just hope they don’t ruin it by making it too “hollywood-Save-the-World”.

I think they need to remmeber this is the Robot Wars-it’s simply playing out on OUR planet.

Anyway can’t wait for it! :)

    God Bless!

  8. Thanks, Roderick for bringing back the Latin segment !!!
Allelu . . . no, scratch that, eh, Hurrah!
