In episode 5 of Healthy Catholic I try out one of the most dreaded exercises for fitness beginners… abdominal crunches! I also step on the scales again to see if I lost any weight.
Another great episode. I think they’re the perfect length, and the interesting camera angles and upbeat music really keep me engaged.
Can we expect to see an episode about diet soon? I’ve found that - regardless of how much cardio and strength training you do - without the proper diet, it’s all for nothing.

@Frank: it’s not music by a known band, the opening tune (and most of the other music in HC) is standard copyright-free music that comes with Garageband on the Mac.
I am absolutely amazed about the picture quality. I watched this episode via my iPod on my 32 inch CRT TV (so, no HDTV, but plain SDTV PAL) yesterday.
One question: how on earth did you reach your weight goal of exactly 81.2 kilograms (if I do remember this correctly)? Not 81.1, not 81.3, but 81.2?
Man, what a blessing would it have been to have a Catholic Insider video podcast from those days in the Vatican back in 2005… Go on!

Healthy Catholic just keeps getting better and better! Keep it up with the hard exercise and the good shows and you’ll be at your goal in no time.
