  1. Fr. Roderick,

I just watched this Weird Al Yankovic music video - White & Nerdy. One line toward the end is so appropriate for the discussion on who was the best Star Trek captian. You just gotta watch and have a laugh! :)

  2. FYI, the trailer to “Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End” is out:

    480p / 720p / 1080p

  3. The piece about the Fantastic 4 sequel reminded me of this great humor piece, written by “The Hulk” titled “Why No One Want Make Hulk 2?”

  4. I left some audio feedback for you father the “fire guy” in the Fantastic 4 is “Human Torch”

I could also have sworn you called the Silver Surfer as the Silver Server??

  5. Hi Fr. R. –

I smiled all through your extended story about discovering superhero comic books on a camping trip in France (of all places.) My five-year-old son spends most of his waking hours thinking about superheroes and/or robots: he pretends to be them, builds them out of Legos, tells me what would happen if C-3PO encountered Flash (battle of the yellows?) etc. etc. etc. Since I’m his mother I of course am interested, but I can’t relate very well never having been a little boy. My husband and I have talked about his boyhood, but it’s charming and educational to get an additional perspective.
