1. @Fr. Roderick. Due to some DB episodes I started watching Dr. Who on DVD and now I’m hooked. :O (En bedankt, hè :o) )

I can highly recommend the DVD-collection (I bought them at play.com). They come with audio commentary, just like the BSG DVDs.

So now I’m anxiously awaiting the new series of Dr. Who starting next Saturday at BBC1 20.00 CEST ;) I wonder wheter there’s a podcast available with audio commentary, just like the BSG feed at scifi.com.

2. The download was only 383 bytes.

3. Ack! Good download coming now. Never mind.

4. Speaking of Dr Who and the source of the controversy, Captain Jack, has anyone seen Torchwood? Not available over here in the States yet. At least, not with my impoverished cable options.

5. I only got 2 seconds worth. Wazzup??!!

6. @Terry - Torchwood is excellent and is hugely popular here in the UK (John Barrowman is never off TV here at the moment). The new series of Dr. Who started here last Saturday & was great. I was a bit unsure about what Billie Piper’s replacement would be like but she was very good. Tennant is apparently now officialy the most popular Doctor with British fans.

7. The Filipino equivalent of Goodbye/Farewell is Paalam (Pa-a-lam). There are some English expressions and words that have been used so often by Filipino people in a Filipino discussion that it has often been mistaken as part of the Filipino language.

I hear “bye bye” more than “paalam” these days. To hear Fr. Roderick speak in Filipino was nice.

Paalam Padre Roderick!

8. @Brbudde: just delete the file, and redownload it (if you use iTunes, unsubscribe and subscribe to the feed). Usually that solves the problem.

9. Ok Father I am hiring a lawyer :P I need to put a restraining order on you.

So much Dr Who my interest is peeked. I want to watch this show now. Where should I start? David Tennant Season 1? or what should I go for? Please advise or I will send my lawyers to see you haha :)
keep up the awesome work.

10. @Micael - My Tagalog book is pretty limited, LOL. Also, I learned I said “No” incorrectly. It is hinidi where the h is silent, but I’m sure you knew that :)
It is 5:30 am here and the village is already active…

11. Okay… It is Holy Week and we should not expect a “Daily” breakfast, but why don’t you just come out and say it Father… Don’t let us think that you are going to have a show every day this week.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Put up a repeat, or even a guest host…

I don’t look for you the rest of the week. Holy Week in a parish is a more than full time job.

Happy Easter!!

12. @ Michael:
He is talking constantly:
“After days of kidney and bladder problems, the cause finally came out the natural way: a BIG stone!!”
http://www.twitter.com/frroderick :) I am fine with the current “solution”. The Daily Breakfast is intended to be a daily show, because Fr. Roderick wants it to be daily and if he does not make it to put a new one online, then I will wait until he is able to do so. I do not want to have a guest host (this is his show, there are loads of other shows to listen to, if he cannot do one on his own) and I do not want a “repeat” because it is already on my computer: why should I download it once again? Only my two cents! :) Don’t be mad! :)
@ Fr. Roderick:
Happy birthday! Happy video editing and a blessed Easter triduum!

13. No problem Christian! Everyone’s opinion counts… and Happy Birthday Fr. R.

14. Hey Shannon! I hope you made it to the Philippines in one piece. Sounds like a nice trip. I’ve always wanted to visit Guam (not sure why, just have).

You might be interested in Radio Australia’s Pacific Beat podcast. They carry news from all around the Pacific. There is so much news coming out of even Guam and the CNMI (two US possessions) that get zero media coverage in the United States. It’s about 20 minutes long and a good podcast.

15. About the April fools joke (*Cough* CI#19 *Cough* CI#26 *Cough* DB#99 *Cough* DB#100 *Cough* DB#100A *Cough*) I belive that you wouldn’t do something like that. :)
