SQPN First Quarter Update

Dear SQPN Supporters,

Yesterday SQPN’s First Quarter 2007 accomplishments and Second Quarter goals were submitted to the SQPN Board of Directors and we wanted to take a moment to share this information with all of you to let you know how we’re progressing and what our next steps will be.

Below is a summary of the major accomplishments for SQPN for the first quarter of 2007, as well as the primary goals for the second quarter of 2007.

This is only a high level list, and doesn’t account for the many hours of dedicated assistance we received “behind the scenes” by our volunteers. Several of our programs, such as Pray Station Portable, Verbum Domini, and Secrets of Harry Potter, are produced almost entirely by volunteers.

Please continue to keep this apostolate in your daily prayers, that all we do and say be for the ultimate glory of Jesus Christ.

Lastly, thanks to all of you who continue to support SQPN through your prayers and continued financial assistance! We’ve come a long way, but there is still plenty to do in this new evangelization!

  1. A very long list and much to come… This was the quarter of preparation. That is how it sounds to me.

It will be an interesting year and it is very kind of you to inform us readers and listeners, because surely there are loads of people out there who contributed to both SQPN and Rosary Army and it is important to see, what the results of all of those donations will be.

Unfortunately I missed the survey (I discovered the link in my inbox the other day and the survey was already closed). Maybe, it is interesting to know what the survey was about and what the results were, too? :)
Consider this to be only a shy question… :)

  2. Looking very good, Father Roderick. Let your listeners know if we can help in any way!

  3. @Christian,

We’ll be launching a follow-up survey in a few weeks.

  4. Way to go guys! You have come such a long way since the first shows. SQPN continues to be a blessing for all of us. Keep it up!

  5. Wow! What a great list of accomplishments and what an exciting list of things to come. You guys rock!
God Bless you all and keep ‘em coming.

  6. Excellent job, guys. I don’t think anyone could question the good work that’s going on with our donations. You are doing a great job at keeping a professionalism amidst a very relational atmosphere. Not always easy to do! You’re raising the bar for the youth and young adult apostolate which my husband started.

God bless you in all you do!

  7. Looks great! You’ve definitely been busy :) I was able to complete the survey after seeing the link on Twitter (last week?), and I hope you got lots of feedback.

    Keep up the good work!

  8. Congratulations on all the hard work you’ve put in.

  9. Maybe you could also ask the terrific “On-the-U” podcast to join SQPN in 2Q:

    http://ontheu.blogspot.com/

In their shows they mentioned several times that they are big fans of SQPN !! ;-)
Since their target audience is mainly college students, this would also fill an existing gap in the SQPN podcast shelf.

Anyway, keep up the great work.

  10. Actually that’s VidBlaster, not CastBlaster Video.

  11. Fixed :)

  12. The demo of Vidblaster had no audio when I tried playing it.

  13. This is an awesome achievement! Great Job! I am very excited about the future of SQPN and how many people can be touched by God through SQPN. I am especially excited about the new podcast series that are up and coming. I can’t wait! :D

  14. Several of our programs, such as Pray Station Portable, Verbum Domini, and Secrets of Harry Potter, are produced almost entirely by volunteers.

Aren’t all of our shows, except RA and Father Roderick’s shows, volunteer shows? Just want to clarify that for newcomers.

  15. @Javier - You’re absolutely correct. But as you stated, Hands and Feet and many of the other shows are affiliate podcasts completely produced by the affiliates. They’re on the network, but not produced by SQPN directly. The three we mentioned in the list are all SQPN produced, like Daily Breakfast, Catholic Insider, and Fr. Roderick’s other shows.

    Nevertheless, good point!
