dear roderick,

i am a little concerned. first of all let me say that i love your shows, and hope that you keep doing more of them. however, i hope this new show is not going to go the way of all the other shows. (star wars, pirates, etc.) they are awesome shows, but why don't we get to hear more of them? i realize you are very busy and probably don't have time to handle all these shows, but i just hope you haven't bitten off more than you can chew. i am not trying to criticize you, just trying to help you understand that these shows are great and we want more of them. the last star wars one was years ago. when are we going to hear about your trip to skywalker ranch. i just get a little disheartened when i hear you announce a new show. i just hope you continue with this one. personally i prefer quality with what you already have than quantity of shows. hope this helps. like i said i just want you to keep up with what you have. thanks!

I am also playing LOTRO and that how I found this podcast. After hearing this episode, I immediately sent my husband a message at work to tell him to subscribe to this as well. I knew right away it would be something he'd love. We cannot wait for further episodes and locations in Middle Earth!

I especially enjoyed the soothing sound-seeing tour of The Hill and Bag End. I felt like I was there in person. I love that hearth! The scene of Gandalf working things out in his mind and smoking his pipe is one of my favorites of the trilogy. Thanks for dropping by that most wonderful of locations.

Fr. Roderick,

Secrets of LOTR is starting to hit its stride. I realize the first show was just the introduction to the podcast and the type of information in this show was exactly what I had been hoping to hear.

I am mostly through reading Children of Hurin which is really good. Definitely worth reading and it does help expand the understanding of Middle Earth.
