Healthy Catholic #11: Water!
After a short break, Healthy Catholic is back! The Healthy Catholic Podcasts documents my efforts to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of weeks. In this episode, we will talk about the importance of staying hydrated. A minimum of two liters of water (=67 ounces) a day should keep your body and mind in top condition! And of course, I will step on the scales again to see how much weight I lost in week 5!

Finally, I have found a way to leave comments on this podcast! Yey!
I have followed each episode from the beginning and I love them all! You even inspired me to start a new health and exercise segment on my own podcast. My problem, though, is not overweight but rather on the brim to underweight. I’m seeing a dietist (is it called that in English?) to help me choose how and what to eat to at least not lose anymore weight.
In the segment on my podcast I talk about how my excercise has went since the last time (I try to make a podcast each Sunday, but mostly I don’t have time or energy for a weekly show). I also weigh myself and talk about my weight and BMI and how much I have gained or lost in weight since the last show. I haven’t received any feedback about that segment yet so I don’t know if anyone think it’s interesting. *smiles*
But I definitely think it’s interesting to follow you, Father, on your quest to lose those pesty extra kilograms.
Peace!
Thank you SO ! So ! much for all your broadcasts! You are in my prayers DAILY!
CONGRATULATIONS on your 300th Daily Breakfast !
May God continue to bless you in all your works

Thanks for another great episode!
I do have a request… for those of us who are not runners can you perhaps do an episode on different types of activity?
Running drives me crazy and I am so unhappy doing it that I can never stick to plans to run regularly. However, I have found that I love to bicycle.
I am training right now for a Cycling Century (100 miles in a day) which is the cycling equivalent of a marathon.
Many people who don’t like to run, or can’t because of knee or ankle issues can get a great workout on a bike.
Thanks again for all you do!
Hi Fr. Roderick!
Well done on loosing more weight! Its inspiring me to get going myself as soon as my PhD viva is over on Thursday… too much sitting at a desk working for the past 4 years has had its effect… eek!
However, unlike yourself I can’t simply have a hair cut to help my weight loss for the week having slightly less on top to start with! {:0)
keep up the great work.
