  1. Hi Fr.,

Quickie spell check. I think you meant the work taught. I know it’s difficult to tell how we spell some of our words because we Americans pronounce our vowels so poorly. ;)

Have a great day and God Bless!

  2. Dear Father,

When I try to open Today’s Show I keep ending up with Yesterdays show. I don’t know whether the link doesn’t work properly or my computer is objecting. But prehaps you can check it.

  3. P.S.

I haven’t listened yet (it’s still downloading), but I’m glad happy to see another installment of your vocation story. Keep it coming!

  4. All the same for me…

  5. The link likes to DB-310.mp3. Just copy the link but edit it to DB-311.mp3 & I think it should work. It’s a simple typo-error.

  6. Ok, so the both of you are not subscribed via iTunes, but listening by clicking on the link right? The link on the site had an error. It’s been corrected. Now go download iTunes and subscribe!! :)

  7. No problems here… weird…

  8. …. or get out of the claws of Apple and use an independent aggregator like Juice!

  9. I have done that, downloading itunes and quicktime, but that made the downloading so slow. In the end I got ride of it and listen to it in the ‘old fashion’ way. This way it starts with in approx 10 seconds. I did subscribe to the RSS feed, but as SQPN is my homepage clicking on the link is the easiest. This way I catch up with all that goes on on the site. :-)

  10. Dear Father,

I was just completely overwhelmed by you story of the Holy Spirit. I have been going through a very difficult time in my life and I had forgotten about the Holy Spirit. I could feel the presents of the Holy Spirit while listening to your Podcast. I now believe everyone at SQPN was sent to me at the right time in my life.
Keep up the good work, and God Bless.

  12. Dear Fr. Roderick, Hello from Sydney Australia.
Your recipe for your podcaste of fun, interest, and spiritual growth is wonderful. Thankyou for making the journey of faith interesting and something to look forward to each day. Now when I pray I feel apart of a much larger circle of people who have given their lives to the lord. May God continue to Bless you your listeners and SQPN.

  13. Hi Father,

your vocation story is so fascinating – I also would like to encourage you to put it out in a separate format (i.e. own podcast or mp3 file).

Great and very inspiring content – unfortunately a bit fragmented and slightly hidden (only known within the active DB community).

Pls. give this content some more exposure !!!

  14. The vocation story would fit perfectly in the “SQPN – Deepen your Faith” segment.

This content is truly able to deepen faith.

  15. Fr Roderick a strange coincidence that you should mention Gordon Ramsey in DB 311 since our priest in his Pentecost sermon included an interesting analogy of Gordon Ramsey as a “Paraclete” coming alongside struggling chefs correcting and encouraging them. (Though I imagine that the Holy Spirit’s language would be more moderate).

I loved your vocation story, I think that my own Holy Spirit experience must have happened about the same time as yours (1984).

    Keep up the great work!

  16. Dear father Roderick,

You touched my heart by talking about your vocationstory. I just came home from a Pentacost conference (Opwekking). It was awesome, God is awesome!

Please keep on telling about your vocationstory and by doing that, you talk about God en His greatness.

Thank you and may the love and grace of our God be with you.

  17. Hi
Thanks for featuring my song ‘It’s over’ on your podcast. I’m ‘over the moon’ to use UK football parlance.

    Enjoyed the show! Take care
    Al
