  1. Dottore,

Looks like a bracket snuck into the URL for St. Irenaeus. Non funziona.

  2. Grazie dell’avviso, Ted. E’ tutto sistemato.

    (it’s now fixed :) )

  3. Thank you for the Saintcast! I found it about 2 months ago and I’ve listened to all the archives in order since then. I finally made it to the current episode, and I’m looking forward to the next Saint Jeopardy. :)

    God bless you!

  4. Diito what Kevin said. Iwas caught up as of Wednesday and am looking forward to downloading #64 from iTunes. iTunes brought me to many great Catholic podcasts!

PS: I know you’re a physician, but you also have the voice and delivery (the Gift) of a natural broadcaster!

  5. Dear Dr. Camarata,
Thank you for the sound-seeing tour of Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. I was there in March when I went to Chicago for a conference. It brought back a lot of memory. I just have a question. You mentioned that the Patroness of Chicago is Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, but why is the cathedral named after the Holy Name?
Thank you for all the good work and God bless.
    Jack

I think it has something to do with the name of the first chapel built at the first seminary for the Chicago area, St. Mary of the Lake. The name of the chapel was the Chapel of the Holy Name, established in 1846. A Church of the Holy Name was soon built in Chicago. When the official cathedral, the Cathedral of St. Mary, burned down in the great Chicago fire, the Church of the Holy Name became the Cathedral of the Holy Name.

  8. Happy 4th of July! It’s fitting that we are at the half year mark of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Feast Day, January 4th.

Hope you are mulling over the “Cancer Cast” idea; that is something I can’t stop thinking about – it would surely bring comfort to many. Here are some saintly folks wanting in on this show: Our Ladies of Perpetual & Prompt Succor, Anthony, Helen, Bernadette, the Miraculous Medal, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Agatha, Peregrine, Raphael, Gabriel and Padre Pio – they all have something to bring to the table they say ( as does Liz Seton ).

I added your link to my home page – please let me know what you think. Thanks!
