  1. Padre Roderick,

Episode 4 is incredible!!!!! This is by far the best episode yet! Your narrative was amazing and the music is the perfect compliment. I loved hearing the history of one of my favorite fantasy realms. Thank you for your efforts.

  2. I am saving this for my weekend-hike! Really looking forward to it!

    Thanks Father Roderick!
    Martin

  7. 8. Excellent Father R! I’m a big Tolkien fan too and have read and reread the books many times. I just “discovered” the podcast as a result of a sweeper on the Daily Source Code and I hope I’m not too late and that you still have a few fresh episodes coming!

    Thanks!

  9. WOW i dont play LOTRO, i play GW and this makes me wanna go get the game now. You do such a damn good job with this podcast, so relaxing man. Keep it up.

  10. Hello dear Father Roderick,

You know you’re doing good with you Lotro-Podcast, when there are people beginning to ask you, when there will be a new episode ? Well, I guess, I’m only the first :) Are you planning or maybe even working on a new Episode ? I like your Podcast very much. It spreads out your love for the story and gives so much background information! I startet to read the Silmarillion because of your podcast and bought the Lord of the Rings Book, too to read afterwards. But to listen to your nice and enthusiastic voice, telling us about this world and the story is a nice and instructive thing to do, because you of course take a look at everything from a slightly different perspective. Before I heard it from you I did not know the story around Tom Bombadil and was astonished about it and thought some time about the complicated issue with him. I - and I think many others - would be very happy and thankfull to hear from you again to hear new storys.

    kind regards
    Zoltan Djapjas from Germany

  11. Great episode! Hope to see another one in the near future.
    Greetings from Peru :)

  12. I’ve really enjoyed this podcast so far, Father! I really hope you make more episodes! You absolutely HAVE to talk about the prophecy of Glorfindel regarding the Witch-King of Angmar, Lothlorien (the heart of Elvendom in Middle-Earth), the coming of the Istari…oi, there are so many things worth talking about under the heading “The Secrets of the Lord of the Rings” Pax vobiscum, Pater!

  13. When is there going to be a new one? =)

  14. Father Roderick,

We (my family) love your podcast. We listened to #4 in the car and our kids (3, 6, and 9 year olds) sat riveted to the podcast. We’re looking forward to #5!

Oh, by the way, the 6 year old put a vote in for past history on Smaug!

Thanks again for the great podcast! Feel free to share.

  16. Absolutely love the show!! I’m browsing the site right now for more Father Roderick goodness!

But I will have to put some pressure too and ask if there will be more episodes? Your podcast is really the best LotrO cast out there and I’d love to hear more. ^_~ Even if you just tell us there won’t be anymore or you’re very busy at the momment that’s ok.
