Brother Giles,
El episodio número 19, segunda parte no se descarga de itunes.
Un saludo,
Marnie de BCN
I´ll take the liberty to translate this for other visitors, if Br. Giles does not mind.
Br. Giles,
Episode No. 19, second part, is not downloading off ITunes.
Regards,
Marnie from BCN
Yeah, my mistake. I had to upload the file very quickly, didn’t have time to check. It should download fine now.
Thank you Estefanía.
And thank you Fr. Roderick!
Could you give the origination of the word “disciple” again? I wanted to know how to spell the two roots you gave. Thanks for the shows! I love them!
I’m still having trouble playing this last episode. It cuts off after 10 seconds. Is anyone else having this problem?
Thanks for the great podcast!
Nevermind! The problem was on my end, and it’s fixed! Sorry for the false alarm.
@Jamie
“Disciple… which has 2 Latin roots – from dicipulus, meaning pupil, and discere – meaning to learn.”
I cut and pasted this from the script document. I really ought to follow the Daily Breakfast Latin course more closely, it would help me with my pronounciation, which I should imagine is dreadful.
Thanks for your comments.
Brother Giles:
To you, my best regards, and I’m pretty sorry of not hearing you anymore. The way in wich the podcast sounded under your hosting was the kind of interesting one I was looking for. Is not that I don’t like Fr’s Broderick hosting, but I like yours the most.
Is there any other podcast you host that I should listen to?
God bless you.
Jose. (A.K.A. Nosferatu)
@Jose.
Thanks for your regards José. I’ve not disappeared off the map for the moment. Fr Roderick produced a Special for the series to mark the launch of the new film, and he’ll no doubt be back from time to time to do similar episodes.
By now you’ll probably have seen that we’ve been busy in the SHP “virtual production office” producing a new block of episodes going in depth into Deathly Hallows and its symbols, mythologies and plot developments that interest us from the “Secrets of…” point of view.
While SHP is where my voice can usually be heard, I sometimes crop up on the SaintCast (also here at SQPN) and I’ve been know to record poetry for Librivox, though I think there’s only one piece up there at the moment. Hmmm, must get round to doing more of that.
Oh and if you click on my name here you’ll go to a page in Spanish that, very occasionally, includes monographic podcasts in Spanish for our Youth Ministry.
All the best, and enjoy our new Deathly Hallows investigations.
