Naomi – I’m pretty sure I said both. The original Muppets gag was “mahnumanah,” but in the mid-1990’s they had a short-lived show called “Muppets Tonight.” On that they did a gag with Sandra Bullock where everytime someone said the word “Phenomena,” these other muppets would pop onto the screen and start singing. I tend to use both gags frequently.

When you were making the lure “dance,” did you sing, “phenomena” first? Or “Muhnuh-menuh” (however you’d spell it)? Cause that’s my husband’s joke, if either of us ever says “phenonmena” in conversation, he starts singing that silly song….
