Re: “It’s not in the Creed.”
I heard this discussed recently on the Catholic Answers radio show. The answer they gave is that the creeds were developed, not to include everything we believe, but to clarify disputed points. It took decades to work out the details of the Trinity, so that’s in the creed. But the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist is not part of the creeds, not because it is not important, but because it never was in doubt in the early Church.

Great job explaining transubstantiation. This too was a big deal in my conversion. I sat and looked up every word, in John 6, in the Greek Lexicon and I was blown away by just how literal Jesus really was.
