I disagree. People send video links from YouTube or articles from news sites all the time to friends. I know people frequently forward those things to me.
So far over 125 new people have been notified about RA and SQPN shows simply by this little contest. I couldn’t be more pleased with how it’s working out.
Wow! Congrats! You are all in my prayers as well. I’m glad I listened at work this morning to the ustream, because the one time you have a big announcement, libsyn seems to be down!
Also I loved when you described how the boys took it. It reminded me when I was in their shoes 17 years ago. “YES!” It was a great way to start the day.

All right, all right…I haven’t even listened to the podcast yet, as I still can’t download it, but I CAN put two and two together (I’ve been in those shoes a time or two!) So, I just had to chime in with my congratulations. Can’t wait to “officially” hear the news! Lu

FYI – Libsyn (the company that hosts our MP3 files) had a big hiccup today, which is why a lot of people can’t download the file. The system has already been reset, but it can take up to 24 hours for it to propagate through all Internet Service Providers. So some of you can download and others can’t. But I would guess in the next 12 hours, the problem should be fixed for everyone, so just keep trying to download.
And as far as everyone congratulating us, I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.
WOO HOO!!!!! GREAT WORK YOU TWO!!!! Excellent news. It just goes to show that you really have formed a loving community, b/c I was up listening in bed and ran downstairs to tell my wife. It really was like hearing good news from good friends. You are all in my prayers, and don’t give up on that girl just yet. We have 3 kiddies 2 boys (6 and 4) and a 10 month old girl … 3rd and 5th times a charm?

I’m one of those who can’t download the show, but I’m sure that I know the big news. When do the kittens arrive? I’ve always been a cat person and you’re just going to love them. It’s always better to get two you know. I can’t wait to hear the show and hear the news officially. A huge TEXAS CONGRATULATIONS from the whole Catholic Family.
Man, now the kids are going to be begging for a kitten. “The Willits are getting one. Why can’t we?”

The Catholic Hack!
For all who have been having download trouble, it appears that all of the SQPN shows hosted on Libsyn are now good to go, including this latest one from RA. Thanks for your patience!
There are targeted exercises you can do to help prevent certain running injuries if they have been a recurring problem.
The first time I ran more than ten miles, I developed a painful foot problem which seemed like the beginning of plantar fasciitis. Apparently this sort of thing is pretty common for beginning runners — the cardiovascular system tends to train more quickly than the other muscles that you need for running, so you often wind up running for long distances before your feet, ankles, knees, etc. are quite able to handle it.
Anyway, the same friend who’d hooked me on running in the first place loaned me a book called “The Runners’ Repair Manual”, and it has a couple of exercises which really did seem to help. Perhaps you guys could benefit from looking at that book, or some similar book or website that has these exercises.
