We had our sixth (!) kid this year in the middle of what was already “birthday week” in late April. Now, half our family has a birthday in April! Adding to the problem, Mother’s day is just a couple of weeks from my birthday; my husband, a busy track coach in the spring, and I traded Mother’s Day and Father’s Day one year to ease the birthday burnout.
