  1. Hi Fr Roderick
Thanks for another little snippet of history from our sceptred isle. Did you get to see inside the castle?

  2. Just a few rooms, the entrance fee to the rest of the castle was a bit too steep (considering that we’ve visited a LOT of castles).

  3. Father, I am so enjoying this series. I love that it is a brief piece and I can take a short break from my work to catch up on what you’re doing–I am especially fond of your musical selections. The one on Hadrian’s wall is also fantastic. Keep up the good work. I look forward to the next installments of the series.

And godspeed on your upcoming trip!

    Maria

  4. Hi Fr. Rod,

By the way, what is the links for the first 2 episodes of Godspeed? I missed the 2nd program.

    Peace & Healthy Energy,
    Michael C

  5. @Michael:

You really should subscribe to the podcast! The videos have by far a superior quality and you do not miss a single episode. I suggest using iTunes. You can find all episodes in the feed:
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/godspeedcast

Everything is free and very easy to handle.

If you do not like that (what would truly be a pity):

There you can find all Godspeed episodes here in the blog.

  6. Thanks for the comment Christian and the Godspeed episode link at

    http://www.sqpn.com/?cat=41

which still is awaiting its own program icon on the home page.

You may not realize that millions of people do not have exclusive use of their own computer with fast internet access. For them, subscribing to podcasts is not an option. The alternative for is to use computers at colleges, libraries and other places. In that case having a clickable MP3 play link on the page is the way they access it to listen.

We frequently forget how most of the world and even in the developed world do not have frequent access to expensive computers & internet connections.

    Peace & positive prayers,
    Michael C.

  7. @ Michael C:
You are right on the internet access thing! I sort of live in a more rural area and I am quite happy that I do have my little “broadband” internet access (0.8 MBit only). Concerning the icon: I think our podcasters are quite busy in these days of the PME in Ontario.

Use the search functionality in the right column for looking for contents instead - and the link behind “filed under” right beneath the post’s headline. This link is a bit hidden. :)
Thank you for your answer, too.

  8. @ Christian

Maybe this is an easter egg by the SQPN producers.

    Just kidding… ;-) ;-)

  9. Blair Castle is home to Europe’s only remaining private army!
