You are right on the internet access thing! I sort of live in a more rural area and I am quite happy that I do have my little “broadband” internet access (0.8 MBit only). Concerning the icon: I think our podcasters are quite busy in these days of the PME in Ontario.

Use the search functionality in the right column for looking for contents instead – and the link behind “filed under” right beneath the post’s headline. This link is a bit hidden.

You may not realize that millions of people do not have exclusive use of their own computer with fast internet access. For them, subscribing to podcasts is not an option. The alternative for is to use computers at colleges, libraries and other places. In that case having a clickable MP3 play link on the page is the way they access it to listen.

We frequently forget how most of the world and even in the developed world do not have frequent access to expensive computers & internet connections.

Father, I am so enjoying this series. I love that it is a brief piece and I can take a short break from my work to catch up on what you’re doing–I am especially fond of your musical selections. The one on Hadrian’s wall is also fantastic. Keep up the good work. I look forward to the next installments of the series.
