  1. Hi fr. Roderick,

Thank you for your beautiful speech! It really is inspiring! Keep up the great work and God bless.

    Boele

  2. Personally, I think you should incorporate “yee ha” into more of your daily speech, Fr. Roderick! A heartfelt thanks for coming and sharing your story.

  3. one of the best speech type things I have ever heard. well done Farther, you show the rest of the podcasters out there how it’s done.

  4. We must teach those Ft. Worthers that you don’t laugh and giggle when someone says “Howdy”, you say “howdy” back. Had you said “Howdy” to a group of Aggies you would have had a resounding “Howdy” back.

  5. Father Roderick . . . a great synopsis of SQPN. . .and you definitely do not need any rebal “hee haws’ and “howdies”to enhance it.

  6. Great show! If you do another CD this is a great candidate. Did Fr Bill move? Tee last I checked was in Oregon.

  7. Woah, hold on, wait a minute! Father, did you complete your doctorate on that theologian I can’t remember (or pronounce)?

Great sense of comedic timing, too, Father. I was laughing all the way through.

  8. That would be Hans Urs von Balthasar, Sarah.

For some reason, I’ve always found his name quite memorable.

  9. Fr. Roderick’s stories are great! What a talent!

BTW, I’m still in Oregon though my MacWorld and Podcast Expo videos were shot in California. Easy mistake. I mix things up all the time too.

  10. Great talk…I really enjoyed it. I was wondering how to get the podcasts from the vatican, et. al? I tried to download from iTunes Catholic insider feed but could not. Is there another way? Keep up the great work!

  11. @Kevin, Vatican Radio podcast feeds are available at
    http://www.radiovaticana.org/vie/Rss_feeds.asp
Choose a language and subscribe via iTunes or another podcast player.

The CI feed (RSS or iTunes) is available on the homepage of SQPN.com.

  12. I think I know what Kevin M means. I’ve tried to download the CI episodes recorded in the Vatican (earliest episodes) as well, but haven’t succeeded. I guess the feed in iTunes only lets you download episodes no older than a specific amount of time I haven’t found interesting enough to find out.

  13. Hello Fr. Roderick, what a great speech! Especially great to get to know these facts of you life. :) Does this Star Wars site of yours (thevirtualedition.???) still exist?

  14. This was an excellent talk today. Realy motivational.

  15. What a great talk, Fr. Roderick. It was wonderful to hear of your adventures in life…and the adventure continues! Thanks for your holiness right here and now in the world we live in..the world which appears rather insane, unhealthy and anti-spiritual. This probably is not very apparant to the young but to us oldies, the world can be a drag…a drag downward. But you and the youth can give us hope for a great future! Hope I keep going to see it all happen!

  16. I enjoyed this so much I listened to it more than once. I am in my first year of college and I listen to the daily breakfast while doing homework, I couldn’t stop laughing. Great job, you seem so comfortable with public speaking, so natural, funny and interesting.
