SQPN Opens New Store!
As you know, SQPN is in the middle of its annual Giving Campaign. Your generous donations help us to continue our apostolate in 2008.
In addition to these donations, we have come up with another way in which you can help us: by getting your Holiday gifts via our new SQPN Store. The cool thing is: it won’t cost you extra! We have set up an Amazon Affiliate Store, with a great selection of recommended books, DVDs, gadgets and music. Every time you buy something (at the normal, low Amazon prices), Amazon will give SQPN a percentage. So you pay exactly what any other Amazon visitor would pay, but you help SQPN in the process!
In the new SQPN store, you can find a selection of ‘SQPN Weekly Picks’, with books or DVDs that SQPN podcasters talked about in their shows this week, so you can check them out for yourself. In addition, we have created a section for beginning podcasters, where you can find links to most of the equipment we use at SQPN to make our shows. Fr. Roderick presents a selection of his favorite books, movies and music, and other SQPN podcasters can create their own list of recommended products. And of course, you can also order your official SQPN T-Shirt or That Catholic Show Coffee Mug by clicking on ‘SQPN Merchandise’.
So if you need inspiration for your Holiday gifts, why not take a look at our new SQPN store? You will find great products while helping SQPN at the same time!

Cool! Now I know what games to get my sons for Christmas!
Father
For us living outside USA, Amazon.com only ships selected products - Books, CD, DVD, VHS (does anyone buy these????). No food, no utensils, no electronics, no software, no games… We have Amazon.co.jp here that sells most of the same stuff, however only sell games and software in Japanese. Plus for DVDs they send only region 2/NTSC, with normally subtitles in Japanese only (some movies sometimes have English ones, but not all). But this is a separate store, so we are not automatically diverted to it when go to Amazon.com from SQPN linksand if we buy here $ will not go to SQPN.
Good Luck with the Store!
What a great idea to go with this Amazon ‘embedded’ store. As for me personally, it came a little too late, since I just ordered some items directly from Amazon the last weeks, items that also are on display in the SQPN store (Leopard, iLife and iPod touch). But good to know; my next purchases on Amazon will be through SQPN!
Then, on the matter of buying in the States from abroad… I am a Belgian, living in Peru (of all places), and was quite desperate not to be able to get stuff from the USA (as I’m a Mac user). But then I found SkyBox.net! They act as a mediator between you and the American stores. They provide you with a postal suite in Miami, so that you can purchase stuff and have it shipped to Skybox. They then forward it to you, whereever you are in the world. It’s as such that I could buy my stuff recently. Well, I don’t have ‘connections’ with Skybox, but since the question was asked, I thought it could be helpful.
Anyway, good luck with the SQPN store and all the other endeavours!
Ludwig
That’s a great information! It’s very frustrating not being able to get some of stuff from Amazon, so this Skybox may help us from abroad to help SPQN!
Thanks sharing this!
I can’t believe you are not offering the Senseo coffee maker. I bought one way back on Fr’s review and have loved it.
The Senseo Coffee maker is in there! Just look under Food & Health or Gadgets.
I’m sure we’re going to use the SQPN store to fill some stockings this holiday season.
Carlos…
I know this frustration…
So I really hope more people get to know there’s a way around to still shop online in the States. Amazon is a great store, and I’d rather pay 50 dollars than 50 euro’s for the same product
Fr,
What about having a “search” feature on the Store, so we can buy other products not featured and still help SQPN?
@Ludwig -> Unfortunately Skybox.net does not ship to Japan….
Thanks
Carls
Fr Roderick!
Thanks a lot for adding the search feature!
