I only caught the last 3 min of the show but this seems like a great idea! I didn’t have time to setup an account so I could participate, but I plan to do so for next week’s show. Very nice job!
Really enjoyed the show. Great job Fr. Roderick and Maria! Next time, though, I think I’m going to have to re-read the chapters before the show, because I couldn’t look things up and keep up with the chat at the same time. Can’t wait `til the next one!
I loved being able to lissen to it. but I could not get into the chat. every time I tried it would come up with an error in the next window. but for the first time it was really good.
I have a recommendation for the participating listeners - prepare what you are going to say! When Fr. Roderick said he was going to “unmute” everyone, I hit the “ShoePhone” just to see what would happen. Before I knew it, Fr. Roderick had muted everyone else and had just me on the line! I was so nervous and caught off guard that I think started babbling. I hesitate to listen to the episode once it is posted - it might be too embarrassing!
If I ever get on any of the episodes again I promise I will have something intelligent to say. LOL.
@Gisela - I wouldn’t worry. Didn’t sound like babbling to me. I just wish I could have gotten mine to work on chat so you could’ve had someone else to stammer along with you
Unfortunately, when I clicked the “shoephone” thing and it connected, my speakers went out, but they came back on when I disconnected. Maybe that’s a feature to keep from getting an echo from the speakers when you’re talking? Hopefully I can figure it out for next week…
