A friend of mine came up with a New Year’s resolution that should be pretty easy to keep: eat one piece of fruit a day. That way if it is too difficult to eat the five servings of fruit/vegs. recommended, one can at least eat one fruit, keep the resolution, feel successful and then go from there!

A Happy & Healthy New Year to all!
I have resolved to get MOVING. Actually, I started a couple of weeks ago… I had been working my way through the Healthy Catholic shows, then watched the incredible video of Greg’s Thanksgiving Day Marathon that was SO inspiring!!! Completely awesome!
Anyway, I found a neat website for running - http://www.coolrunning.com - they have an area for New Runners that I thought was great. They have a program called “The Couch-to-5K Running Plan” and it’s just what I needed, because I mainly sit at my job and I’m plain ol’ fat. Actually after the first week or so I started feeling my left knee alot, so I dropped back to just walking until after the holidays. But even if I do each week twice it doesn’t matter - I’m MOVING, being active.
And that’s my resolution for 2008 - thanks Father!
