Each episode runs 5-7 minutes and is great for kicking off conversations and discussions about the vibrant Catholic faith. Fully relying on Scripture, the Catechism, and the teachings of the Catholic Church, this DVD features eight amazing topics including:
- Sit, Stand, and Kneel - What is it with those Catholic calisthenics, and why are there so many various prayerful postures used in Liturgy?
- Candles and Light - Why are there so many candles on the altar, and what does the Bible say about candles and light?
- Night of the Living Catechism - A Catechism may be bigger than most phone books, but there’s no reason to be afraid of it!
- Charity and Mercy - Living the beatitudes can be done in everyday life, starting in our homes!
- Statues and Icons - Do Catholics worship statues and icons? If not, why are there so many statues around?
- You Are a Priest Forever - A beautiful explanation of the Biblical basis for the sacramental priesthood.
- Water, Water Everywhere - How water, through baptism and in Scripture, acts as a symbol of death and new life.
- I Confess! - The Sacrament of Confession is not an interrogation, but a way of bringing us closer to God!

Great Season, I ordered two DVD’s.
I already place my order. What are YOU waiting for…
I’m using it as a stocking stuffer for an RCIA candidate. Just in time!
Hooray! The perfect gift for my friend who teaches RCIA. Thanks guys and good luck! Lisa
Just received my DVD yesterday. Great job!
The DVD mentions a downloadable study guide. Where can I find it?
Thanks for making this available on DVD!
will there be versions with subtitles? in my case dutch?
Hi David,
We are looking at the possibility of this, but we’ll have to wait until we see how we do with the 2008 Giving Campaign before we’re able to determine which projects we’ll be able to focus on next year.
When I saw the Topics I was so happy to read it, Since is very important to my work, but then when I saw that I had to pay I remain with hope that some one to offer me as a best gift for Easter.
Thanks.
Teresa - All of the episodes are available for free viewing online (there’s a link at the bottom of the page). But if you want higher quality versions, they are available on a DVD.
I watched all eight episodes on youtube in one sitting. Marvelously entertaining and fun learning. Keep up the great work. I’m becoming more interested in Catholicism so this is a welcome find. Thanks for putting your heart and soul and the love of Christ into making these.
Greg and Jennifer Willits are cool! Thanks for your great work!
I’ve seen your videos in youtube and it was fabulous! I wish you could also sell some copies of your DVDs here in the Philippines… GOD BLESS to your show….:-)
That Catholic Show: A funny thing happened on the way to the Catechism. Here you have a short, digestible nugget of the Faith that is sure to inspire as it educates. I’d say you really have something here … the kids love it, and the adults can’t keep from looking over the kids’ shoulders to find out what they should know.
Any word on whether we’ll see any new episodes in 2008?
I certainly hope there will be new episodes, otherwise I don’t know what we’ll do with these scripts!
Great material, but private confession was the result of Western Monastic (Irish) and not Eastern monastic influences in the Early Middle Ages. She was right the first time through.
How do I get to order the video from Kenya?
