Catholic TV and SQPN bring you new video podcasts
At the start of this new year, SQPN is excited to bring you two new video podcasts in collaboration with CatholicTV.org: The Daily Mass and ‘This is the Day’!
Catholic Television is located in Boston and offers a wide range of live TV shows. Two of these programs are now available as podcasts to the worldwide SQPN audience.
Every day, you will be able to download The Daily Mass and watch it on your computer, your iPod, or other video device.
Twice a week, Father Robert Reed and Jay Fadden host ‘This is the Day’, a half-hour talk show with Kevin Nelson. The hosts discuss various topics of the week and respond to viewer mail. Interviews, cooking, music, news and events for today’s Catholic.
You can subscribe to both new shows by clicking on the links on the main page of www.sqpn.com

This is great news! Because I live in the Boston area, I am quite familiar with Catholic TV. They are on the cutting edge of Catholic television. I’m so pleased with this new partnership, a perfect marriage! Congratulations!
That is great! I am grateful to both SQPN and Catholic TV! I was flipping channels and came upon Catholic TV (then called Boston Catholic TV) a few years ago when I was visiting a relative who was in the hospital in Boston and it was a source of comfort. I enjoyed the informal banter that goes on between Fr. Reed, Jay and Kevin on “This is the Day”; plus I love their Boston accents! Now SQPN listeners can add another cultural tidbit to their repertoire! Catholic TV also puts out a small monthly magazine that has some informative articles and nice features and is free-you can sign up on their website:www.CatholicTV.com
Once again, I am amazed at all Fr. Roderick and the SPQN team accomplishes! I don’t know if they realize how many people and in how many ways they reach people and bring them closer to God and one another!
Thanks again to you all,
Bonita
What time of day will The Mass be available?
You can expect to see CatholicTV’s Daily Mass every weekday in the early afternoon (Eastern Time). This Is The Day will be available Tuesday and Friday around the same time. Peace!
Thanks!
Every time something great shows up on SQPN, I do a dance of joy in my kitchen (where my computer lives). I’ve been dancing for two years nonstop.
Thanks Father Roderick. You’re awesome!
Thanks for making BCTV’s programming available for downloading. Hopefully, they will someday be carried live on Comcast’s cable network here in Tallahassee.
Along with the entire staff at CatholicTV© I am thrilled that the light of the SQPN star has come to shine over our studios. In these days when we recall the visit of the Magi to the Christ child, it is with great joy that we begin our affiliation with Star Quest Production Network.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, broadcast live each weekday from studio C at CatholicTV, is appropriately the foundation of our twenty-four hour broadcast schedule. We are pleased to offer the Mass each weekday by noon for download so that it may be viewed on your computer, your iPod, or other video device. In addition, one of our signature shows, This is the Day, broadcast live each Tuesday and Friday, will be available for download through SQPN in the early afternoon on those days. The show includes discussion of current issues, news and special guests with commentary…all from a uniquely Catholic perspective. Find it all at right here at SQPN.com
All of us at CatholicTV extend our deep gratitude to Father Roderick and the SQPN board of directors for their warm and enthusiastic welcome. We sincerely hope that these two offerings will enhance the mission of SQPN and the Faith of all of you good people following that star!
-Father Reed
Ditto Fr. Reed’s post.
Please visit our web site. There you will find so many more CatholicTV produced programs live and on-demand 24 hours daily anytime, everywhere. - Sean Ward
This truly brings good news to the New Year! The collaboration of SQPN and Catholic TV is a perfect union that will enhance the faith life of so many Catholics and those who might be in search of God’s truth.
As a busy, “young-ish” Catholic woman, I appreciate the top-quality religious programming that Catholic TV provides. I like to stay informed with their live programs(and others) through their state-of-the art website, as well as with their free monthly full-color magazine…both can be found at http://www.CatholicTV.com.
Making Catholic TV’s programming available for download will now add another wonderful dimension to my faith experience and that of so many others. Thank you.
My prayer is that SQPN will strongly consider including many more of Catholic TV’s outstanding programs available for download in the future…they truly show the light of Christ in this world that can be so dark.
Many blessings on your admirable work and your new and very important relationship with Catholic TV. God is good! -Mary E. Casey
This is just wonderful! I know of other masses online, but none that are podcasted.
Are there any plans to podcast any of the Catholic TV rosaries? It would be wonderful to have them in audio only on podcast for example - and even the mass in audio only.
THANKS and God Bless SQPN and Catholic TV
I’m not real familiar with Catholic TV (yet), but I know that the Rosary Army folks have podcasts available for praying the Rosary, a ‘plain’ version and one with relevant scriptures. You can find them on iTunes or at rosaryarmy.com as well.
