I love Saint Cast! I’ve just had my iPod for about 3 weeks. I got a Shuffle last year and decided I was ready for more flexibility. I got the Classic 80GB model. Once I started browsing Catholic pod casts on iTunes — I subsribed to yours, iPadre, Daily Breakfast, and Catholic Under the Hood. I’m a Secular Franciscan living in Atlanta. I’ve been to Italy a couple times in the last 5 years. I downloaded the episodes from Assisi. Listening to the Soundseeing Tours takes me right back. As you describe things — I know exactly where you are — I listened to the one where you got to San Damiano and it was closed. I felt your pain. I almost said, “Noooo!” out loud at work. It was sooo hot that day in Assisi, and we walked all that way only to arrive at a closed church! I have to say I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Italy, and Assisi has got to be my favorite place of all. Thanks for the kind words.
