I think there’s an error.can’t open it on website and via iTunes
Libsyn seems to have some problems delivering the file, so it might take some time to fix this. Thank you for your patience.
Fr. Roderick
I reuploaded the file once more, and this time it seems to download properly. Enjoy!
Wow, it’s so weird to hear myself on a podcast! (I was the one who called in about the praying instead of watching football/soccer matches). By the way, it’s alright that you said Canada instead of the U.S., Fr. Roderick. I’m actually planning on moving out there so it works out.
Thanks, Fr. Roderick, for playing my feedback too. I used music from “Magnatunes” which is podsafe. The piece was called “Sojourner”. Here is the link:

Thanks for the improved background effects! It added so much more mystery… I was inspired that day by the return of “Lost”. And it was worth the wait. Thanks again and God Bless.
Hey Fr. Roderick,
It was great hearing that portion of your God Talk interview again, brings back memories of your visit here in Winnipeg

Loved this show, Father. Your comments remind me of my favorite Secrets of the Lord of the Rings episode when you talk about the “deep and spiritual world” of Middle-earth, and how you relate that with the ultimate mystery of God. Truly wonderful thoughts that I go back to time and again, especially during those times when there is “a battle to fight” in my own life. Speaking of mysteries, I recently watched a talk by J.J. Abrams on “the mystery box” that I think you would enjoy (if you haven’t already seen it). I’m not sure if it’s worth 20 minutes of your time, but there are some interesting parts. He even mentions Star Wars, which is cool (I actually learned of the talk from the official SW blog).

Your interview on Winnipeg radio was good, but you failed to mention that the Pope already podcasts… Vatican Radio does podcasts and that is due, in part, to you!
Early “Catholic Insider” listeners will remember how you went to Vatican Radio and introduced them to this new media.
I think it’s been mentioned before here, but Cardinal Arinze is also podcasting through Catholic Familyland’s web site at arinzepodcast.familyland.org (also on iTunes) and Archbishop Cardinal Sean of Boston is a very active blogger at cardinalseansblog.org.
Sounds like a pretty fast paced interview, so can’t blame you for not thinking of specific examples on the fly. It was funny that they tried to catch you saying the pope should definitely be podcasting to be relevant to young Catholics.
Great interview.
Keep in mind that I only played a small fragment of the whole interview. You can listen to the whole thing on the Rock and Roll preacher’s podcast:
