OTU#73 - The Nap Trap
In this episode the guys discuss “The Nap Trap” - the perils of sleep deprivation for college students, whether taking a nap is a good thing or not, and how to improve your sleep habits. Later, Paul St. Romain and Aaron Guernsey bring their guitars to the studio for the world podcast premiere of their song called “The Catholic Blues,” slightly irreverent but really fun! hey I loved the show. It was the first time that I listened to it and I’m a freshman college student studying law so I can relate. I’m one of those people that only get 5-6 hours a sleep. Just wanted to say I really enjoyed the show keep up the good work!
Hey! I started listening to ‘On the U’ a few weeks ago, and I love it! Fortunately, I am one of the students who gets 7-9 hours of sleep (7 on a bad night). Some days though, my schedule is very draining, and I end up taking a nap anyway—usually around 5 pm for at least a hour, so maybe that is my downfall? Anyway, I hope you have an awesome Holy Week and keep up the great work!
I know the studies say that napping may lead to having more sleep problems, but sometimes you hit that wall after a long day of classes or work and it’s just the ticket!
