    Just for the record another BIZARRE British pronounciation, confirmed by Wikepedia:

    Glamis Castle is situated beside the village of Glamis (pronounced Glahmz (in IPA: /ɡlɑːmz/))

  2. D’oh! That’s what you get when you’re on vacation with a couple of Dutch priests that have no idea how to pronounce stuff! ;)

  3. Wow - someone beat me to it. As some as I heard ‘Glam-is’, I paused the video to comment… It sounds more like “glarmz” and is featured in “The Scottish Play” (Macbeth was Thane of Glamis)….
