About the Author

Joe McClane

I grew up in the Church of Christ but fell away and became agnostic in my teens. I joined the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil of 1999 and was married, to my lovely wife Michelle, in the Church in 2000. My real conversion took place on a spring day in 2002 when I got on my knees and "let go and let God". My journey went into hyper drive at that point and I have been in love with my Catholic faith ever since. My wife and I have three children on earth and three children in heaven. We are devout practicing Catholics who are excited to share the treasure we "found in a field" with the whole world. I work full time for a Catholic, non-profit, evangelization ministry in Houston TX called Fullness of Truth.

  1. Hi, Joe,

I hope you didn’t take my previous post as too negative! I really enjoy what you do… and as for those folks who ask you to do differently, how are their podcasts? Perhaps they don’t even have one, and so don’t know what an effort it is?

Given that, I do think it’s more “ear-cathching” to have the main content up front. But do what works for you!

  2. Hi Naomi,

Thank you! I wasn’t offended at all. It was affirming what my gut was already telling me. I’m glad you spoke up. Thanks for the support… I really appreciate it.

    God Bless

  4. Hi Jenn,

Thank you for listening and for your feedback. Yes… pray boldly! Is. 7:14 - God has a sign for us… ready to shore up our faith. Pray to your Father and ask him to provide a specific sign to you. Be sure to give him the sign and give him the time line. I know… it sounds too bold but trust me. Ask him… pray it every day and tell no one what you are praying for. Watch how God will speak to you, his child, in this sweet and loving way. Don’t ask for the loto #’s or the lexus… ask him to shore up your faith. Pray boldly!

    God Bless
    Joe M

  5. Hello Joe. I discovered your podcast a couple of weeks ago and have been enjoying it. You are inspiring — your zeal to know God is infectious.

I wanted to let you know that your store doesn’t seem to be working. I clicked on the link from your website (the one that goes to http://www.catholiccompany.com/catholichack) and got the following error “The system cannot find the file specified.”

  6. Hi John,

Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it. Try the link now and let me know if it works.

    God Bless
    Joe
