The Practice of the Presence of God (Brother Lawrence) Additionally...highly recommend anything by Dr Scott Hahn, "By What Authority?" by Mark Shea, and "The Bad Catholics' Guide to Good Living" & "The Bad Catholics' Guide to Wine, Whiskey, and Song" (the latter two are very orthodox, fun reads about Catholic culture and history...don't let the titles scare you off :-). ) I can think of several off hand:
