Paul H.,
I recommend checking out virtualtourist.com. Fellow travelers/tourists post reviews/recommendations of things to do and places to see for popular destinations (Berlin included).

Safe travels!!

Paul, just walk around downtown Berlin and amaze yourself at the buildings. I've been stranded there for only one day on my way to Prague, but just walking around and letting myself go on these magnificent architecture over there was enough for at least that one day!

Fr. Roderick-you're doing a great job of keeping the show "on time". I just noticed that the last six episodes are exactly 27 minutes and 26 seconds. Woo hoo!

I'm headed to Scotland (Edinburgh) and Germany (Berlin) in August, and remember your haggis-laden podcasts. I look forward (?) to giving the dish a try myself. Hey SQPN'ers: any recommendations on things to do in Berlin in August?

Even with less than excellent sound quality, I have to say I loved the Indianapolis 500 contribution. If you have ever been there, the sounds of those cars passing by are exhilarating! I could once again feel it.

FYI... the family that owns the Speedway are Catholic and every year it is the Archbishop of Indianapolis who gives the invocation.

Thanks!

P.S. Of course a Dutch driver, Arie Luyendyk won the 500 in 1997
