Thanks so much for your talk about the Liturgy of the Hours. I am a Secular Franciscan and we promise to pray Morning & Evening Prayer. I had sadly fallen away from the committment for a couple years — only randomly doing it and mostly at the monthly fraternity meeting. I got my first iPod in March and started listening to the various Catholic podcasts available to me on a daily basis. During Lent & Easter, I recommitted myself to the prayer. I now make prayer the first thing I do before turning on the morning news. I always make time for evening prayer as well. A few of us SFO’s at my parish have also committed to praying the Franciscan Crown rosary every Wed evening after mass in our Blessed Sacrament Chapel. I feel like a new person again. I live in Atlanta and will be at the CNMC. I signed up to volunteer.
