I am so thankful that you stopped that little girl and made her consume the Blessed Sacrament. It is frightening to me how many “Catholics” have no idea that Christ is fully present in the Eucharist. Thank you for your engaging and entertaining podcasts.
Luckily, I’ve never seen this kind of thing, but…
A few sundays ago, on the feast of Corpus Christi, our Bishop (Bishop Robert C. Morlino ,8th bishop of Madison, WI and an excellent preacher), talking about sooo many times things like you mentioned happening, He said “If that [somebody walking back to their pew with an unconsumed host] ever happens in my church [building], I’ll just send one of my servers after him them with my a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crosier” title=”crosier”> (in a joking manner)”
Everyone laughed, especially the 21 (me included). Then he went on in a serious manner about this topic. One last thing, wondering the need for all the altar servers? . Thanks!
