CST 89: Eco…Breastfeeding…Marriage…Sacrament…Oh Boy!

Red dye leads to Sam with red eyes, Ben puffs up for apparently no reason, Mac sees First Blood for the first time while we recommend The Prestige for a second viewing (priest not included). Also, Kat goes the long way around to relate breastfeeding to the sacramentality of marriage

Mac Barron

"Mac" as the"the world" knows "him" is actually a cybernetic artificial sweetener intelligence from a dimension that we in our "world" share a pay toilet with on the Champs de Ellysses. "We" still aren't exactly sure why "he" ends up on a podcast most weeks. It's a mystery!

  1. Thank you for this episode! It is so hard finding people who are both Catholic and considering that AP/eco-breastfeeding/NFL stuff too. I started out doing small bits of it and have added more through the years. Kind of like my faith journey. :D You would be amazed as to how each aspect of the AP/NFL lifestyle adds to your responsiveness as a parent, even the one I thought I would NEVER adopt–cloth diapering. With this podcast you have just found a new listener!

Oh Mac! I love Remo Williams! LOL

  2. Angelique,

I have been a part of many mommy groups that are Catholic and Attachment Parenting. If you want support it is out there. You may like the Sheila Kippley book Breastfeeding and Catholic Motherhood: God’s Plan for You and Your Child. It’s a really fast read, and there are some wonderful quotes from Pope John Paul II. I loved it.

When I was in Baltimore, I was part of an AP group, and I assumed I was the most conservative Catholic in the group. Little did I know that there were 2 other AP mothers who were devout Catholics. We were just hiding our religious views for the sake of AP companionship.

And now you know at least two people who are AP and devout: me and Katherine.

    Pax,
    Zina
