Regarding the documentary mentioned, entering "A Documentary about a Certain Person" in the YouTube search field will get you started.

Actually, there are two different documentaries about J.K. Rowling made mid and during (yes, during) the writing of the last HP book. Both have some overlap yet each contain unique insights that make both must viewing.

Thanks for the new episodes. Our family has enjoyed the Harry Potter series and have enjoyed the SHP podcasts. I really enjoy hearing the meanings behind some of the names, places, etc. and how that adds layers of meaning to the story that the author may or may not have done intentionally. We like the trivia question concerning the griffin in this episode. Keep up the great work!

You made my week with the podcast. I figured something was up and didn't expect it, but when another podcast didn't load in order, it was a pleasant surprise to see it on my ipod. Now I have to go back and listen to some of the newer episodes to get my brain up and running again. There are so many ideas and meaning floating in my head about the series. Thanks again!

Fr. Roderick
Thanks to you and all the SQPN team for all your amazing work.

I was wondering if in any of the Harry Potter podcasts you had touched on the interesting links between Harry Potter and "PASS" - post abortion survivor's syndrome?

This article by several doctors outlines the connections:
"Harry Potter: The Archetype of an Abortion Survivor"
http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2007/sep/07090503.html

The Harry Potter books are interesting stories - but there seems to be something there beyond the stories that has attracted such a huge number of fans.

I'm sure the author's of the article would be happy to come on a podcast to discuss their findings.

I understand that the purpose of these Harry Potter podcasts is to create interest in SQPN by Potter fans - but the PASS parallels are too strong to be ignored.

The article makes me recall a man in his mid-20's I saw in the airport not long ago… he wore a t-shirt that said on the front: “Abortion is Mean” - and on the back “You will not silence my message - You will not mock my God - You will stop killing my generation.” http://americanlifeleague.stores.yahoo.net/rocforlifkid.html

He was silently getting a lot of attention. The reality that he lived I suspect is very different from late-baby-boomers like me. A third of his generation - and all generations following - are not around. It really must have a powerful impact on how one lives their life. Why am I around when my siblings, friends are not?

This sounds like a question that Harry Potter might ask.

God Bless!
