  1. Um, I hate to be judgementive, but you kind of made alot of mistakes in the 30th podcast of “The Secrets of Harry Potter”. For one thing, Nagini (the snake) is a girl, and the reason why Voldemort made Nagini a horcrux was because he “loved the snake more than he loved any person.” In other words, he made love to the snake in a overshadowed snake. Also, the cause of the(at loss of a better term) flashback for Harry Potter was from 3 of the horcruxes of Voldamort were all in the same place and active.(in other words not destroyed and still inhabited by Voldemort’s soul). Another thing that might have been on purpose for saving time is that there were no trivia questions for Harry Potter on the podcast. Finally, i still can’t find where the live podcast of “the secrets of harry potter” is found. Hopefully, I shed some light on the chapter. B.T.W. , according to the Harry Potter audio books, (which are great), Bathilda is pronounced Ba-til-da. I suggest using the audio books for pronouncement of names and words.

Thank you for reading this and please read this out on your next podcast if you have the time. I finish this by saying that your podcast is bloody Brilliant!

Here is the link to scholastic books where they have a pronunciation key for the words/names in the Harry Potter books. It’s great ! And I concur with Permafry_42…. your podcast is bloody Brilliant !!! Glad you are back !

  3. When is the next “Secrets of Harry Potter” podcast? These are really fantastic!

  4. I really enjoy the show. I wish you’d put them out more often!

  5. Great show, looking forward to more!

  6. I agree that it is really wonderful to see SHP back on the feed with great new episodes.

Could I ask for your prayers for Kathy Couture, who wrote, co-wrote and editted some of SHP’s most memorable episodes. She’s very ill in hospital at the moment and would, I’m sure, appreciate your help in pulling through.

Thank you, Fr. Roderick for keeping things going. And thank you, SHP fans, for thinking of Kathy at this difficult time.

  7. One of the gentlemen on the podcast stated that in this chapter we discovered that James had died first when Voldemort attacked Harry’s parents. This is not something we’ve just learned here, we’ve known this for several books. And even if it hadn’t been mentioned in previous books, it had to happen that way did it not? If James wasn’t already dead, would he not have been fighting to save Lily and Harry??
