Ok, that was the most SUSPENSEFUL podcast EVER! I’m so happy for you guys!! yay!
Ben and I will pray for you guys!
ps- so we’re training for the portland marathon but we’re getting married on august 9th… and of course, there’s a good possibility we’ll become pregnant shortly afterward. Will I be able to continue training? The marathon is Oct 5th.
Jennifer- I can’t wait to join the SQPN pregnant women club!!!
Blessed be God, ruler of the universe. I will continue to pray for you that God’s will is done and that you deliver a healthy child.
My mother has gone through 3 miscarriages in her life, but she has four healthy children now, so right now I pry, I pry for you so hard right now that you will get through the pregnancy just fine and I can’t wait to hear more good news about what is going on.
Cassie - I don’t know why we’re so excited for your wedding! It feels like eons ago when you sent us that picture of you and Ben, and even though we’ve never met, we’re very, very excited for you.
As far as running in a marathon on October 5th, even assuming you end up with a honeymoon baby, check with your doctor!
I haven’t heard the episode yet, but seeing ‘ultrasounds’ in the description made me nervous. Back on July 1, 1999 my wife went for her normal 12 week ultrasound when we found out that the baby had died at approximately 8 weeks. One of the hardest and most bewildering days of our lives. I’m so glad that everything is obviously going great with you guys!!
My wife and I listened to this episode yesterday morning and cried all the way through it.
Fr. Bill is such a pastor, isn’t he? What a dear man.
I will be praying for you, along with everyone else.
Holy COW!!! I’m so glad that the baby is safe and healthy!! You-all are absolutely in my prayers.
I’m so glad baby is OK!! Father Bill rocks
We’ll keep praying, especially while we’re at World Youth Day next week. (If you could, please say a prayer for us for a safe pilgrimage. Our parish is sending 31 people & we’re all taking all-twine rosaries to pray & give away!)
Also, Greg, my husband will definitely have a monk-beer recommendation or two for you, if I can ever get him to actually write down the names for me. I know his favorite is a monk-beer, but it’s something German & I can never remember the name.
I only met Fr. Bill once but the minute you described what he did, I thought, “how typical of Fr. Bill!” Such a sweet and loving gesture, perfectly timed, and I’m sure it helped a lot! Sending this with prayers for a healthy delivery.
I hope you continue to have a healthy pregnancy. Try to take it easy! This podcast left me with tears in my eyes. It is difficult to lose a baby even during the first trimester. Thank you for sharing this with your listening audience.
