About the Author

Mac Barron

"Mac" as the"the world" knows "him" is actually a cybernetic artificial sweetener intelligence from a dimension that we in our "world" share a pay toilet with on the Champs de Ellysses. "We" still aren't exactly sure why "he" ends up on a podcast most weeks. It's a mystery!

  1. Oops!

There is no > play link for CST #94 on the web page here as of 10:30 AM Eastern time this morning.

I’ll have to try to find a download link somewhere on the CST website.

  3. Congratulations on the wonderful news!

And as for kids in theatres… I totally agree. For many years my wife and I would tradeoff seeing movies. She’d go see a movie, hand the kids off to me, and then I’d go see the same thing. Then we could talk about it over dinner.

It saved money, and I also appreciated a little bit of one-on-one time with the kid(s). And we decided that the essential part of seeing a movie wasn’t really sitting next to each other holding hands. OK, it’s a nice plus, but not absolutely necessary when compared to trying to chase down a babysitter.

  4. Hello again,

My favorite nautical novels have to be the Horatio Hornblower series by C.S. Forester.

Thanks for the heads up on Bad Company; it sounds interesting, but I’ll have to wait for it to come out on PC.(I don’t own any gaming systems)
One of my favorite squad-based shooter has quite a bit of humor: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418195/quotes
Of course, nothing beats hearing the lines straight from the game…

    Cheers,

  5. Kat’s so good for not popping Mac for saying she’s gonna get “real fat”! Very funny though. Congrats Barron family!!!!

  6. Sorry I am behind, but I am new to your podcast. Congratulations on the little one!

  7. Mac,

I really enjoyed the Horatio Hornblower books (as well as the DVD’s they were very well done). The books are an easy read, but quickly paced.

Hope you give them a try. Enjoy the show!
