Amazing great fantastic wonderful news! I think this is a wonderful result of you taking the leap of faith to go full time with SQPN two years ago! I can’t wait until I can get Sirius as the result of the XM-Sirius merger.
[...] You can hear all the news from Greg and Jennifer themselves on Rosary Army Podcast 238. [...]
What wonderful news about your new show on Sirius! You’re commitment to following God’s will for you is an inspiration for us all. Good luck and I’ll keep you in my prayers.
Awesome for you guys! You guys have worked so hard and what a wonderful opportunity to bring some fun to Siruis. Gob bless you two…and ahem, don’t forget your roots. Feel feel to plug our show over the x-waves.
Congratulations Greg and Jennifer. It will be awesome for you two to be able to reach a larger audience.
I am very happy for you both. Do you think it would become a podcast like “the Dave Ramsey show?” I would just like to als say Don’t forget us little people ahem
Looking forward to hearing you on satellite radio. I am an XM subscriber, and look forward to getting The Catholic Channel, and EWTN with the merger. I pray that SQPN will be given their own channel in the near future.

Congrats & kudos folks, on this new venture into Catholic Media! You deserve it, as you have both the technical skills and content to do this kind of work. Alone, will we – outside of the USA – be able to get a glimpse at it? Hopefully the Station’s website will offer us some snippets of your show, or you could put something in the podcast feed from time to time…
I think it’s a good decision to cut back on RA podcasts and only making one a week. It surely will be a jam packed show anyway. I wish you lots of luck preparing for Sirius and reorganizing your life, and of course continued happiness with the new Willits kid on the way!
Congrats guys !!! I am most proud of you both. But, sadly I will miss you. I don’t have Sirius. I have found some Sirius stations on the internet and if your station is one of those please let us know the link. Prayers and best wish in your new endeavor and your new family addition. DMc
Congrats you guys! Praise God! I am proud of you guys.
God Bless
Joe
Congrats!! Too bad I’ll be at work, but I’ll listen when I can! AWESOME!
Rock the radio world for Jesus! Hearty congratulations! Pat
Congratulations on the Sirius deal. Can’t wait to hear you for the first time. Going to check out your pods.
Greg and Jennifer,
I just could not wait…I new this would be big news…so I fast forwarded…..Your trust in God is so important…..we could not be happier for you. I have not allowed for Sirius in our family budget, but will have to reconsider, so we can listen to you, Lino and Father Dave…among other Catholic Radio personalities.
We will keep you in our daily prayers. We are so proud of you, SQPN and all of the Podcasters and listeners. We are listening to this podcast at 1:30 am…I can’t wait until the morning to spread the news with to my co-workers.
God Bless You.
Bud,Ruth and Kaitlin
I was just reading the other listener’s comments. John said SQPN should have its own channel. I think that is an excellent idea..if we can still down load to the iPod. The portability and the choice to listen when we can is a big part of podcast success.
Another listener mentioned the time frame of the show. (10-1). I did the free 3 day trail over the summer and they did repeat many of the shows within the 24 hour cycle….I think the on line only subscription was $12.95/mo.
Blessings,
Ruth
THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Deidre, the Catholic Channel is part of the online channels, I saw it on the list when I signed up yesterday in the wake of the news.
One thing about the change that may not be set up for a while — will the US address of SQPN be moving out of Conyers? I want to make sure my bank sends contributions to the right place as soon as necessary (although I realize it’s not like you’re cutting yourselves off entirely!)
I am SO thankful for this development. I have been very worried about y’all’s health insurance situation particularly with a pregnancy, and special needs kids. I’ve prayed and prayed that God would keep you in good health AND provide the health care for a growing family. What an exciting development!
Change scares me! I can’t imagine what excitement you must be feeling!
I’m going to miss the Cloffice : (
Friends of mine at my parish listen to The Catholic Channel all the time on Sirius but roll their eyes at me when I talk about Rosary Army, so this is kind of funny. I hope you talk about making all-twine knotted Rosaries a lot ; )
I still don’t like change but I’m happy for you : ( Can’t you tell? ; )
Adrianne
Greg and Jennifer,
Just wanted to add my congratulations and best wishes with the rest of the RA groupies. I’m so happy for your family and especially for all of the Sirius listeners who are going to get to have you in their lives every day. God is smiling!! Here’s to years of success for the Catholics Next Door!
Lisa
Excellent news! You have my prayers as you venture out “into the deep” of satellite radio. I’m sure God will bless it, as He’s called you to it.
Clayton
(aka, clueless “kolbe” who showed up late to the Ustream party yesterday… thinking the news was all about the cloffice)
The Lord is doing great things! This is only the beginning. Congrats my dear friends. You make us all proud and happy.
Greg and Jennifer – congratulations! I know it must seem like you’ve jumped onto a freight train, but it seems like just the natural outgrowth of your apostolate. You both are such naturals at this that I’m sure you’re going to have a profound effect on so many more people.
Congratulations! God is doing wonderful things in your lives. I think it is incredible that you also get to continue to work from home in Conyers. I guess the Sirius studio might be a little large for the cloffice.
congrats with the new Sirius show — time to subscribe (again)! well, it sounds like you weren’t looking for a cab in NY when it was raining !
Greg I don’t wanna bug you, but what about uStreaming from time to time? Would Sirius allow you to?
Thanks for all the kind words, folks! Ludwig – I doubt we’ll be able to uStream the radio show since Sirius is dependent upon subscribers. But it might be a possibility some day. Maybe once we get rolling I’ll make the suggestion, but since we’ll be the new kids on the block, I just want to focus on doing the best show possible. uStream might be a bit distracting!
But when we can uStream the weekly RA podcasts, we’ll continue to do so.
Chili Cheese Skyliners, Hudepohl Beer, and Buckeyes.
Now that’s quite a mix…even for someone from Ohio!
I agree, the Skyline packets just aren’t the same.
Great to hear the people you will be able to share your stories with is growing. Did you say 10 to 1PM? That would put you in the morning drive time for the west coast. Not bad!
Fifteen hours a week, too! You may consider starting a topic list or idea jar if you haven’t already. Maybe the current SQPN subscribers can help with the ideas for content. I’ll suggest the story of Greg getting stranded in Deliverance country. Or perhaps a weekly phone call segment with other SQPN casters that are willing and able and would like to feature a particular episode. It’s all exciting!
Father Dave (Busted Halo Cast and Sirius Busted Halo Show) was able to get a greenlight for a 10 minute to 15 minute highlight from each week that he puts in a podcast. Maybe you can get a green light to do something similar. He does it in a separate link that may be because of copyright issues for the non-Sirrius stuff.
And since you are former actors…”break a leg”.
I struggled some days to comment on this. I am happy for you and sad for us listeners.
As a listener since 2005, a very, very long time, I feel in some ways very connected to SQPN. So, I did know that especially Fr. Roderick’s intentions were that SQPN may hit the airwaves some day.
Now, it did come true in a different way. Two of the best podcasters and a big part of the operational heart (COO and CFO) leave SQPN (partially) and head over to a paid radio service (something that does not exist because of little demand over here in Germany, so this might be a reason for my absent enthusiasm). Finally, not the SQPN content did reach the airwaves, but the SQPN people leave SQPN at least partially (and I am not sure, if you are able to do 15 hours of radio plus show prep plus family plus the RA podcast plus the RA work plus speeches plus CNME and so on in the long run…). You did an awful lot of work. Everybody knows that.
And I have to admit: I am very sad that you are leaving. I think, it is great for both of you. And it surely is the absolute right thing for you to do. But I am sad.
I will miss your work. Sirius is no option for me. So with all my best wishes: have a fantastic experience at Sirius. And if it really works out that you are also on SQPN/RA: this would be awesome!
And concerning the SQPN board: I hope and wish for all of you and us that this incredible gap will be filled.
All the best! Really from the bottom of my heart!
Hello! I’d like to encourage all the podcast listeners to consider subscribing to Sirius. They even have an online deal for the entire world! I started subscribing to Sirius when they started carrying EWTN and now they have The Catholic Channel as well! I have been very happy and satisfied, and feel I should support Sirius since they have two Catholic stations. It means a lot.
Interestingly enough, I will have to record the Willits broadcast because it’s on while I’m at work! This I will do with my portable Stiletto…so I’ll be listening to a podcast! It will be worth it though, because you see, we live in the North Carolina Bible Belt so I know I’ll feel close to Greg and Jennifer.
Dear Greg and Jennifer:
Congratulations on joining the family at the Catholic Channel! I know you will bring your gifts to the spread of the Good News thru the new media to the audience there.
I just did the intros for your interview on American Catholic Radio (heard on Sirius 159 on the weekends) in an upcoming show. Our producer Judy really enjoy talking with you.
Please let us know if we at Franciscan Radio can be of help to you!
Fr. Greg Friedman, OFM
Host of American Catholic Radio and Sunday Soundbites on the Catholic Channel
good luck guys and may god be with you in this new venture
I just listened to your podcast today. I had heard the news elsewhere, but the details were nice to hear. I am glad to hear that the pregnancy is going well. Wow, you folks send your children back to school early in Georgia. The children here do not start back until the week before Labor day. I was surprised to hear, also that your 4 year old was in full time public school. Wow.
Be Blessed
I was so happy to hear from you guys again, missed you alot in between podcasts. And as everybody here, I am so, so happy for you! Going to Sirius is something so new, amazing and great for you! But I am a little sad about it. I can’t say i’m not going to miss the twice a week podcast.
Congratulations and good luck
God bless
