I didn’t vote for the GA lottery. I did benefit from the Hope Scholarship while I was in a private college. It just didn’t cover 100% of tuition — only a fraction. I didn’t buy my first lottery ticket until a few months ago. Just a random two numbers here and there — nothing much. It felt weird. As a Baptist, we frowned on it and the Catholic bingo playing

…so enjoyed out “time” together. You made me laugh, you made me think, you made me laugh,
We are “Catholic in a Small Town” for real…mostly loaded with Baptists! *sigh*
Thanks for this ministry!!
In my experience Catholic bingo is more of a social event than gambling. I grew up in the northeast and I didn’t even hear it referred to as gambling until I went to college in Virginia. That being said, I am sure that some people probably are addicted to bingo like any other addiction, e.g. sex, drugs, rock’n'roll, chocolate, podcasting (did you hear about someone in the Netherlands who recorded 11 podcasts in a row in one day? Dude, that can’t be healthy!)
You can’t leave out the progressive Catholic pick-up lines:

I also read on the SOV2 blog this: “Maybe we could have a houseful of kids to homeschool together some day.”

I have been told by many that I have a pretty good sense of humor, but when I went out to the website that was posted in the comment by “Agent Jones” I was saddened by the lack of respect this site seems to have for the Catholic faith. It seemed mean spirited to me.
