St. Anthony rocks !
St. Anthony just found my daughter’s tennis shoes! Took 4 hours, but only because I had to call my sister at lunch after looking for them before school.
IF HE CAN FIND HEATHER’S DAUGHTER’S SNEAKERS, MAYBE ST. ANTHONY CAN HELP US FIND MY DAUGHTER’S RETAINERS. SHE LEFT THEM ON A CRUISE SHIP!! (WE ARE WAITING FOR A RETURN CALL FROM THE CRUISE OPERATOR). ST. ANTHONY, PRAY FOR US.
This was such a delightful episode. As I listened at work, I knew I’d have to check out the video on ustream at home. I loved watching the package opening.
Love the St. Anthony story as well. The friars at my parish are OFM Conv friars of the St. Anthony of Padua Provice out of Ellicott City Maryland. They have a St Anthony shrine that is open for visitors. Check out http://www.companionsofstanthony.org/Relics.htm
From their web site….
“The relic, and the unique reliquary that holds it, were gifts from the Friars of the Province of St. Anthony in Padua, Italy to the Friars of the Province of St. Anthony in America (the Provincial House, or headquarters, is on the same grounds as the Shrine of St. Anthony in Ellicott City). As the property was developing as a shrine the decision to place the relic in the chapel seemed appropriate, and this took place in a special ceremony in the fall of 2000.
Today, visitors to the Shrine, especially those who have a great devotion to St. Anthony, feel close to the great Miracle Worker. With this physical presence of St. Anthony there is a little bit of Padua in America”
Peace to all,

St. Anthony has saved my bacon more times than I can recount. Just yesterday I misplaced my car keys and searched for them for several hours. Then I said, “Why not turn this over to St. Anthony?” After a little prayer, I found them within ten minutes, without really looking for them. They were right there where I left them.
