We live in a pretty parochial place and I know they will love the references to European places I'm sure they know well. Once they are intrigued by that initial "hook" I trust they will come to enjoy listening to you as much as the rest of us do. I really enjoyed this episode. I just have to tell you (and Ann) that I, too, was at a Benedictine Monastery for the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin -- but I was at one of the thousand-year-old (literally!) ones: St Pierre de Solesmes. I agree, their vespers in Gregorian chant are amazing! (Although I don't know if I could handle praying in latin everyday, though.) God bless you and thanks for all the catholic history that you explained in this episode. Father!
