Father, can you explain how you record your video. I find it amazing that you can maintain the camera on your face while walking and looking around. It almost appears you have some kind of device to maintain the perspective. I would think if you were just holding it, it would be shakier and or at times off the frame.
Would appreciate your tips, you do such an excellent job.
After doing a little research, I figured out that the creature is a type of mollusk known as a Sea Hare. I found video of it on YouTube – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6BrKwdBO-s.
Father asked if it was edible and, while there are different varieties in different parts of the world, I found references to some sea hares that are quite poisonous. News stories from Australia reported that dogs had been poisoned after eating sea hares that had washed ashore.
@Gerben: somehow, Wordpress invalidates the iTunes link. But you can add the feedburner feed to iTunes manually. Just choose ‘advanced/subscribe to podcast’ and paste in http://feeds.feedburner.com/godspeedcast
@Fr. Roderick: I Did, an tried it once again. But even iTunes is reporting that there is something wrong. when searching in in the iTunes store it doesn’t know this feed.
but I’ll keep trying
So glad your back . looks like a great time.. I did get to go to Fatima 2 yrs ago… thanks for all you do… I love the video… just found how to get on… so checking out all your other adventures.

Thanks for the mini vicarious vacation! Lovely…
As a thanks for that much needed mental break, if I manage to make it through the crowds to see the Pope tomorrow here in Paris, I’ll send in some voice feedback (so keep your fingers crossed!).
@ Inge & Fr. Roderick: I am using windows. I followed the link Fr. supplied and could download the episodes from there but subscribing still is having a problem. I get the feed in my podcast list but iTunes reports there is a problem with the URL. Most important I have the episodes and could sync them with my phone. but wil keep an eye on iTunes. never had that before Thanks for all your help
Hi Fr Roderick,
I really liked your first video from Portugal, the filming and editing are fantastic. I’m please that your fellow priests allowed you to do some recording! I have only been to Lisbon once and that was on business so I didn’t get to see very much. I am really looking forward to the next episodes.
God bless

Great video! I especially liked seeing they use tiles on the exterior of buildings. Dinner made me hungry … time to go find something to eat.
I just started watchng the episode. Wouldn’t it be this, which we here in Brazil call arraia?
And here it is the page for the same entry in English. Sorry.
Absolutely wonderful video. Loved the editing, the added music, and camera angles. You are leading the way in Catholic New Media!
So glad to have you home. Can’t wait to see more of your trip.
In Christ,
Cliff
Hello,
I have a problem subscribing to the feed via iTunes. it doesn’t recognize it not even when I add it in manually.
I was so happy having an ipod I can now watch movies on… (ok i should be able to call with that as well but it does not yet work)
regs,
It seems that Mike Hayes above got it right first.

@Gerben – Weird, here it works fine. Are you using Mac OSx or Windows? On my MacBook it works like it should…
