  1. I just casted my votes for the Podcasts Awards 2008 (of course with some SQPN shows included). There’s one thing though I was not sure about: You recommend That Catholic Show for the Best Produced and the Best Video Podcast categories. However, there was no new episode posted in 2008. In fact the last show is more than one year old. So I wonder whether it is fair to vote for a podcast that is apparently podfading?

    Just my 2c.

  2. Just placed my favorite SQPN shows in nomination for Podcast Awards. Good Luck!

  3. Stefan brings up a very good and valid point. (I ended up nominating it, though, before I read his comment.) I remember the preview of the second season (can you consider that a 2008 episode?), but as we all know, TCS was OBE (overcome by events)…

  4. There will be a new episode of TCS very soon, stay tuned!

  8. My nominations are send!

  9. What happened to THE Best Produced, Travel, Religion Inspiration podcast of all times – and probably the favourite podcast of most listeners within the SQPN community ?

    Obviously the CATHOLIC INSIDER….

Hopefully this is not an indication that the CI is not around any longer. ;-(

    Stan

  10. The CI hasn’t been updated for quite a while because of the massive amount of editing that each episode requires. Since I have to do all that myself, there is no room for that in my schedule right now.

If we would have a more solid financial foundation, we could bring some shows back to life, but we are working on a shoestring budget as it is.

That is why I only suggest nominating shows that are updated on a more regular basis.

  11. Hello from Jacksonville,FL. I am really new to podcasts and 71 years old and disabled. This is so you can know some about me. My husband Bruce and I have been married 54 years and we had 8 beautiful children. 7 boys and 1 girl. It was a house full of fun all the time. We have lost 3 of our sons which was heart breaking. We have 17 grandchildren, and we lost one grand daughter. Now we have 2 great grand sons and one great grand daughter on the way. I love babies so much.
I like to draw and paint and with my daughter I teach Ceramics at the senior center. Do they have senior centers in the Netherlands? A place where the elderly can go monday through Friday to get a hot meal and where they can play cards, play pool, play Bingo, do ceramics and take a bus to different stores. It is run by the city and we do volenteering. Yesterday we had a Luau put on by The Humana Medical Insurance company which was a lot of fun.
I could go on and on but I know you have limited time. I do want to say that you can teach an old dog new tricks.I am here to prove it because I am learning so much about the catholic faith by listening to your podcasts.God bless and keep up the good work, Jen Brynildsen

  12. I voted for That Catholic Show in hope that more episodes will be produced – we bought the DVD for ourselves & for a friend & hope to show sections at a RCIA session. Love Daily Breakfast & Harry Potter.
