Mac Barron

"Mac" as the"the world" knows "him" is actually a cybernetic artificial sweetener intelligence from a dimension that we in our "world" share a pay toilet with on the Champs de Ellysses. "We" still aren't exactly sure why "he" ends up on a podcast most weeks. It's a mystery!

  1. Wasn’t it Vonda Sheppard?

Yeah, she sucked. In fact, after the first season, that show was pretty horrible as well.

Oh, and the pool hustler? I may have heard wrong, but I thought Mac said Fats Domino. Domino was a piano player. Minnesota Fats was the pool hustler.

  2. great show!
I guess only old liberal feminists should hold public office…
Many folks seem to be assuming that McCain is goin to keel over the day after the election! Until that happens, may I remind them what John Nance Garner said about the Vice Presidency: it being a “bucket of warm *ahem* piss.” Gov. Palin should be fine as VP.
Seriously, until something happens to old John (which I don’t think will happen-look at his mother!) I will be happy that a positive family image could be in the White House. Large families are cool and should be the norm, not the exception.
    Cheers,

  3. Tina Fey’s skits as Sarah Palin are amazingly clever and well done.

Don’t be so sure that John will live as long as his mother. Woman outlive men and stress on the body contributes to the shortened lives. John McCain’s body has had more than its share of stress.

Also … On September 11, Bush was in a Texas elementary school and then in Air Force 1. During the emergency hours he was not in the White House bunker. Cheney was. The rapid difficult decisions were in the hands of Cheney. I don’t think the Governor has the same experience as Cheney brought…and another emergency is always possible.

I too have questions about the decisions made by Sarah Palin, and by extension, John McCain’s decisions with his selection of VP.

I do think John McCain is still one of the better senators though.

  4. Heads Up! SNL Thursday at 9:30. In the mean time, here’s a link to Tina Fay’s debate skit. Queen Latifah does a great job too.

  5. Mrs Palin seems to be making up a good deal of her so-called “folksiness”.

Here is a video with a clear difference in the way she spoke before and now as a vice presidential candidate:

I don’t know about before but now she is sounding like a blend of June Cleaver(leave it to beaver tv series) & Francis McDormand in the North Dakota movie. ;)

  6. darn!

that video from youtube can not be embedded here. oh well, i’ll look for a direct link to it later.

  7. You betcha I found the URL link of the before/after pronunciations of Mrs Palin:
