Listened to the podcast for the first time today. Wonderfully inpiring. Just wamted to share a couple of things from the Eastern side of Catholicism. . . Here, in the Eastern Churches, house blessings are an annual affair -- starting on Epiphany until the approach of Lent, the parish priest is kept busy blessing all the homes in the parish, sometimes carivans are formed as a sort of rotation dinner, including blessings at each home along the way. Lots of fun! It's especially fun as a "party season" after Christmas since we discourage partying during Advent.

BTW, in our Church, "Diaconessa" is the appropriate form of address for a deachon's wife, tho "Deaconette" is kind o cute.

Thanks for the great podcast!
